EDS-1000 PCI Card

  • Compatible with full-size standard PCI slots in Pentium and PowerPC computers
  • Contains 6 ESP-2 VLSI 24-bit digital signal processor chips, each with 26 MIPS of DSP power and 52-bit accumulation

Control Surface

  • 16 channels and one Main L/R, each with a smooth, long-travel 100 mm fader and dual LEDs for matching automation settings
  • High resolution optical encoder with large weighted wheel for jog, shuttle, editing, and data entry
  • Transport and full auto-locator support, including dedicated loop and punch function buttons
  • Multi-function numeric keypad, provides quick access and control for markers, screen views, data entry and user-assignable functions
  • Studio monitor level control and Dim/Mute button
  • 8-pin RJ-45 connects directly to the EDS-1000 PCI Card using widely available standard 10baseT networking cables, allowing complete cross-platform independence and avoiding interference with other system resources such as serial ports, ADB or MIDI

Storage

  • PARIS uses the computer's built-in disk system (SCSI is preferred for better performance but not required). This makes it much easier to configure and add drives, while simplifying back-ups.
